How to Complete Your Training

You may access any of your enrolled courses through the Dashboard Course Overview. After selecting a course, you will be taken to the course front end for that training. It is important to take note of a few things:

  • The Course Overview and Objectives
  • The Course Lesson
  • The Lesson Quiz
  • The Course Certificate

Some may courses may feature multiple lessons, that all serve as dependencies for completion. In the event that you have already completed some lessons in alternative training session, please contact infoFWN@FreshFromFlorida.com to have your grades updated.

The Course Overview and Objectives will provide you with all of the information you need going into a lesson, such as the topics covered, the training time, and what you should be able to identify and understand by the end of the lesson.

To begin your lesson, select the Course Lesson link. A new window will open to the course content. At the top of the Course Lesson activity, you will find a navigation list, which you may navigate by selecting the page numbers, or using the N and P keys. Each page in the lesson also has an audio-based alternative method of delivery. At the end of each lesson is a Take Your Quiz button, that will redirect you to the quiz for that lesson. If you wish to wait to take your quiz, you may simply close the lesson, and access the Lesson Quiz from the course front end at a later time.

After selecting to take a lesson quiz, you will be taken to a page featuring all of the questions for that quiz. Fill in the correct answers, and then submit your quiz for grading. Quizzes are graded automatically, and you must score an 80% or higher to pass the quiz. You may attempt each quiz as many times as you need to pass.

After you have passed all of the quizzes for a course, the Course Certificate will unlock at the bottom of the course page. You may download a PDF version of this certificate, or print it out.
